Singer and composer
Marta Giulioni is a jazz singer and composer based in Italy. She started to study with the soprano Claudia Carletti in 2013; later she enrolled at the Conservatory of Pescara and in 2019 she graduated with a master degree in Vocal Jazz Singing with the maximum. She performs from 2015 in jazz clubs, jazz festivals with different formation, both in Italy and abroad as Pescara Jazz, Ancona Jazz, AREA M (Milan), Fara Music Festival, Stant’Elpidio in Jazz, The Crypt (Cape Town), SAJE Festival (Cape Town), Festival Internazionale di Mezza Estate, Fano Jazz, etc. From 2017 to 2020 she was selected as a singer of the National Jazz Orchestra of Italian Conservatories, with whom she toured around Italy and worked with worldwide renowned artists, as Fabrizio Bosso, Mario Biondi, Pino Jodice etc. In 2019/20 she won a project called “AIR: Artists in Residence”, sponsored by MIDJ (Musicisti Italiani di Jazz) and promoted by SIAE and different Italian Embassies or Italian Cultural Institute around the world. There she will get the chance to perform at the hosting Italian Institute of Culture, which is in Paris in her case.
During the years she attended various and different masterclasses, with Susanne Abbuehl, Jen Shyu, Kenny Werner, Leila Martial and she deepened the world of Vocal
